What we collect

Account data: e-mail address, a hashed password (we never store the password itself) and a display name. If you sign in with Google, we receive your e-mail and name from Google.

Data you enter for readings: full name, birth date, and optionally birth time and birth place. For compatibility readings — the names and birth dates of both people; enter another person’s data only if you may share it.

Usage data: standard analytics events (Google Analytics 4, with cookies), your IP address for rate-limiting and abuse prevention, and technical error reports (error monitoring) that may include your browser and the page where an error occurred.

What we use it for

To compute your numbers and generate your readings, to keep your account and its content available to you, to protect the service from abuse, and to understand which pages and features are used so we can improve them. When paid plans launch, we will also use your e-mail for service messages about your subscription.

AI processing

The interpretive text of readings is written by third-party AI language-model providers. To generate it, we send them the inputs the text needs — the name, birth data and computed numbers involved — and nothing else: no e-mail, no account identifiers. The inputs are used solely to generate your text.

Anonymous try pages

Readings and compatibility checks generated on the public try pages without an account are not saved: they are computed, shown to you and discarded. The name and date you type there do not end up in our database.

Cookies and local storage

We use a language cookie (numeress-locale), a session-presence cookie (numeress-session — it says that you are signed in, never who you are), your sign-in token in the browser’s local storage (numeress-token), and Google Analytics cookies (_ga and related).

Who we share data with

We do not sell your data. We use processors to run the service: hosting infrastructure, Google Analytics (usage statistics), an error-monitoring service, and the AI providers described above. Each receives only what its function requires.

Retention and deletion

Account data and saved readings are kept while your account exists. You can delete individual readings in the app. To delete your account and everything attached to it, write to support@numeress.com — we will do it and confirm.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, or object to a specific use — write to support@numeress.com. If you are in the EU/EEA, these are your GDPR rights, including the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.

Children

Numeress is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will say so on the site. The date above always reflects the current version.
